Disposition versions
1.30. The following diplomas awarded by the educational institutions listed below give access to the permits mentioned hereafter, issued by the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec:
(1) certified translator’s permit;
(a) Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), obtained upon completion of the Bachelor of Translation Program (Honours) (standard or cooperative) at Concordia University;
(b) Baccalauréat ès Arts (B.A.), obtained upon completion of the baccalauréat spécialisé en traduction at Université Laval;
(c) Baccalauréat ès Arts (B.A.), obtained upon completion of the programme de baccalauréat spécialisé en traduction, Baccalauréat ès Arts (B.A.) obtained upon completion, in particular, of the degree of majeur en traduction or Baccalauréat ès Arts (B.A.) obtained upon completion, in particular, of Certificats de traduction I et II at the Université de Montréal;
(d) Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Honours), obtained upon completion of the specialty programme, stylistics and translation option, at McGill University;
(e) Baccalauréat ès Arts (B.A.), obtained upon completion of the programme de baccalauréat en traduction et en rédaction at the Université du Québec en Outaouais;
(f) Baccalauréat ès Arts (B.A.), obtained upon completion of the programme de baccalauréat en traduction at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières;
(g) Baccalauréat ès Arts (B.A.) obtained upon completion of the programme de baccalauréat en traduction professionnelle (regular or cooperative program) at the Université de Sherbrooke;
(h) Maîtrise en traduction – option traduction professionnelle anglais-français from the Université de Montréal;
(i) Maîtrise en traductologie (professionnelle – sans mémoire) – option A from Concordia University;
(j) Maîtrise ès Arts (M.A.) obtained upon completion of the programme de maîtrise en traduction et terminologie avec essai at Université Laval;
(k) Maîtrise par cumul en traduction from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières;
(2) certified interpreter’s permit:
(a) Master’s degree in translation, court interpretation option from Concordia University;
(b) Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées (D.E.S.S.), option interprétation, Maîtrise ès Arts (M.A.) en traduction, option interprétation, from the Université de Montréal;
(3) certified terminologist’s permit:
(a) Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), obtained upon completion of the Bachelor of Translation Program (Honours) (standard or cooperative) at Concordia University;
(b) Baccalauréat ès Arts (B.A.), obtained upon completion of the Baccalauréat spécialisé en traduction at Université Laval;
(c) Baccalauréat ès Arts (B.A.), obtained upon completion of the Baccalauréat spécialisé en traduction, from the Université de Montréal;
